Kiss The Bride - KTB 2-LP (Backspacer Records)

Kiss The Bride’s latest vinyl release, simply titled “KTB,” is a heartfelt tribute to the late Filipino jazz percussionist Uly Avante. The album features reimagined versions of the band’s original works, blending jazz improvisation with funk, blues, Brazilian, and R&B influences—all while retaining Uly’s original percussion tracks. A longtime bandmate and friend, Uly’s contributions are preserved to honor his legacy. Pressed in a limited run of 150 copies, this self-produced LP (in partnership with Backspacer Records) is not only a musical milestone but also a nostalgic nod to the vinyl culture shared by founding members Joey Puyat and Uly.
